FAQ
Q: Will my Accounts/Characters get deleted if I become inactive?A: Yes, You must login at least once every 60 days to keep your account active. Failure to do so will result in account deletion. VIP members do not have to worry about this as these accounts are maintained by the admin.
Q: How do I delete my Cache Folder?
A: Exit your WoW. Go to your World of Warcraft folder, saved somewhere in your computer. Open it up and look for the folder titled "Cache". Simply delete that whole folder, and then restart your game.
Q: I've fallen under texture, and can't revive! How can I get out?
A: Exit WoW by using Alt + F4. Open WoW back up again, and log in game. Type in /g .st
Q: What is a GM, Dev and Admin?
A: GM: Are the police officers for the server. These people are here to help players with problems. They guide you to the correct place to solve your problem. They're here to check if the players are behaving and following the rules.
Dev: These people fix bugs to keep up the server, and test stuff. Basically, without developers, a private server is nothing. They spend loads of time trying to fix the problems of the server.
Admin: If you really enjoy the server, then you should try to spend time thanking Furious. He spends his own time, energy and money to run, develop, maintain and administer all aspects of WoWAcolytes.
Q: Help! My pet's action bar has vanished! What do I do??
A: Simple, all you need to do is dismiss your pet, and recall him ;)
Q: My pet won't eat any food that I try to give to him. What should I do?
A: Go to any Misc Vendor and buy some of the special pet food. If you are using a vendor and it won't work, exit WoW, delete your cache folder, and then log back in.
Q: I'm always stuck in combat. How do I break it??
A: This is a very old bug on Funservers. How do you break it? Follow one of the following methods.
1. Keep running. Sometimes it solves this issue if you switch to another zone.
2. Attack and kill a few mobs. This has a chance to reset your agro.
3. Die. There's a suicide potion located on the Misc Vendor.
4. Alt + F4. This will close your WoW.
5. If you're a hunter, just Feign Death.
7. Duel someone and lose.
8. Get agro from another mob, and run away.
9. Use the custom Flash Powder, located on the Misc Vendor.
Q: I just switch to TBC or WotLK, but I can't see any TBC/WotLK game content. Did I install wrong??
A: No fear, you installed correctly, however a GM has to update your account. Enter in an in game ticket, asking for someone to upgrade your account, or connect with one of the GM's via Forum or E-mail.
Q: Help me, I accidently updated to the wrong game version. What can I do?
A: Depatch your game. Open your WoW folder and delete the file named Patch, and also delete the "WBD" file situated in your cache folder. Next, run the repair.exe in your WoW Folder. This will 'fix' your game, and revert you back to patch 2.0.1. Now you need to repatch to the patch WoWAcolytes runs on.
